One day the children went to school to read and they saw a Gingerbread man inside the library. He was looking for a book that he wanted to read. He couldn’t find the book he wanted, instead he found a treasure hidden in a book shelf. He saw a big key on the table so he decided to open the treasure. When he opened the treasure he saw a lot of things in the box. Soon after he closed the treasure and hid it somewhere in the library.
When the Gingerbread man found a book he wanted, he went and put his book in the treasure box. Later on he took the box of treasure home.
On the way home everyone kept asking him “what is that thing in your hand?” he said nothing. Everyone followed him home, he went inside and everybody was shouting, “what was that in your hand?” He hurried to put the treasure down so he could go back and open the door and tell them it was his treasure and he had found it in the library.
After the Gingerbread man had told everyone what he had found, they all wanted to see the treasure. He opened the box and showed to them. They were amazed at what they saw and they all wanted something out of the box. The gingerbread man gave them each one piece of treasure. He said it was the best day of his life because no one was sad, everyone was happy.
